Mentorship

When I first picked up my camera after years of neglect, I was excited and passionate about learning, but I was also overwhelmed. There was so much to learn and so many choices to be made. I soon found that my struggles went beyond mastering my camera. From Photoshop to developing a new business, I was clueless and naive. Over the years I found that I wasn’t alone. Everyone struggles with one aspect of the buisness or another.

It’s my goal to help beginning to advanced photographers work past those issues. I believe each photographer can and should develop their business and style to suit their own personality. Find your niche.

Mentorships are for all levels of photographers. From post processing, pricing, running a home business, choosing equipment, branding, Photoshop mastery to work flow, the mentoring sessions will attack those weak areas and eliminate them. Each mentorship is personalized to fit your specific needs and questions. Group mentorships are also available.

Mentorship Options

Basic Mentoring – $300

This session includes two meeting times. We’ll meet for three hours on a selected date. Then on a follow up date we’ll meet for one hour to review the session. This session is perfect for those who have experience with photography and/or photoshop and are looking to correct or learn techniques in a specific shooting, editing or work flow area.

In-Depth Mentoring – $500

This session includes three meeting times. We’ll meet for three hours on two selected dates. Then on a follow up date we’ll meet for one to two hours to review the prior two sessions. This session is perfect for those who have multiple areas that they would like to advance in. It provides time and opportunity to practice and learn a new skill, and follow through to see how well the skill has been learned.

Advanced Workshop – $800

The advanced workshop is mentoring allows you to follow me through an entire shoot and then view the work flow edits. In addition to shadowing me, you’ll have two four hour sessions where we’ll work on your specific photography and Photoshop needs.
